KAMIA BLOG UPDATE — Varja × Posso Litter Coming

We’ve got a really nice litter on the way from Varja and Posso, and I’m pretty excited about this one. Varja is one of our best females, steady as they come, and she’s carrying the old Norway maternal line that has been such a big part of the Kamia program. She’s a smart, level‑headed girl with that classic northern judgment — the kind of dog you can trust anywhere.

Posso brings the full hunting‑line Jamthund side into the mix. He’s a serious dog with range, stamina, and a ton of natural ability. He’s got that big‑country mindset from the Karelian district, and he passes along a lot of confidence and working intelligence.

These pups will be a really good blend of the old Norwegian maternal instincts and the Finnish/Jamthund working genetics. Expect strong structure, good minds, and that calm, steady temperament we like to see. This is a true restoration pairing — the kind that builds the foundation for the next generations.

We’ll have more updates as we get closer, but things are looking great so far. Varja is doing well, and we’re looking forward to seeing this litter hit the ground.
