Young Full Bloods Learning the Old Northern Work Under Mature Kamia Females<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had another one of those classic Kamia moments \u2014 the kind you can\u2019t stage, can\u2019t rehearse, and can\u2019t replicate anywhere else in the world. The kind that only happens when you have mature northern females<\/strong>, young Full Bloods<\/strong>, and real bear country<\/strong> all working together under the old\u2011world architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time the young Full Blood females \u2014 Nyra, Ember, and Tehama<\/strong>, daughters of Revna and ARCO lines \u2014 were out with the mature mentors: Varja, Karia, and Silver Nova<\/strong>. Alongside them was Jupiter<\/strong>, the young male from Teeko \u00d7 Karia a couple litters back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the next generation of Kamia bear dogs, and they showed exactly why the Full Blood program exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They scented a bear coming toward camp. They didn\u2019t panic. They didn\u2019t scatter. They didn\u2019t bark blindly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They did what real bear dogs do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They investigated, assessed the situation, and made the correct decision.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The bear didn\u2019t want to move out easily, so the dogs applied pressure, managed distance, and treed it cleanly<\/strong>. No chaos. No reckless charging. No confusion. Just instinct \u2014 the old northern kind \u2014 guided by the steady presence of Varja, Karia, and Silver Nova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then they did the part that separates Kamia dogs from everything else:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They called me in.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Not with panic. Not with fear. Not with frantic behaviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They called me in because they had the situation contained and were ready for the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I came in, praised them for good work, and we retreated together. The bear came down and left. No fuss. No problems. No close\u2011range surprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is exactly how the old Scandinavian bear\u2011dog system worked for thousands of years \u2014 dogs manage the encounter, humans stay safe, bears move on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Note on Nyra \u2014 Her Training Shows Up Again<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just the other night, Nyra proved the value of this mentorship system all over again. She and Aurella<\/strong> \u2014 just the two of them \u2014 were solely responsible for moving another bear out of camp. It was pitch dark, heavy bush, and they were working together without the rest of the pack. Nyra\u2019s earlier training came through instantly. Aurella is mature and extremely skilled, but Nyra held her own beside her, reading the situation, applying pressure, and helping move the bear out cleanly. Good on them \u2014 that\u2019s the old instinct at work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
