We have had an awesome friendship and working relationship with Dale and Wendy for over a decade. As one of our oldest co-breeders we have a long history of raising great dogs with them. They have some of our most prized females that stem from our original bloodlines. They have the famous Tika and her magnificent daughters, Sage, Willow and Aspen and Cedar.

Sage and Willow are stunning daugthers of the Tika and Leif first mating. It was such an incredible gift for all of us to have these beautiful daughters come along. They had brothers in that litter that we have featured all over the site. I'll highlight more of them, but this stunning male is one of them, Koda.

Dale loves these dogs and they love him. He is so skilled with dogs, livestock and all animals its amazing. His appreciate for the Elkhounds just shines through.

Here he is shown with Tora, the mother to his famous Tika and those two little beauties beside them are no other than the famous Sage and Willow sisters.

Dale and Wendy in addition to the great Norwegian Elkhounds also have the Swedish Elkhounds. They currently have a litter from Aurella and Posso, and incredible group of pups.

Dale and Wendy currently also have the phenomenal litter of pups from Aspen and Karu.

These are very special pups as this is the daughter of Swix who we brought in from Sweden as an outcross blood line. Swix is an extremely gifted hunting lineage in Sweden, son of a Nordic Champion and accomplished bear hunter himself.

This is the first time this genetic has been in Canada so Aspen and her sister Cedar are the only two females in North America in the breeding program with the Swix genetics.

This litter is growing fast and Dale and Wendy have them outside now and doing great.

The fabulous Aurella litter is also at Dale and Wendy's. What a great location and environment for these pups to grow and develop. The location is vast and spacious, they have incredible food and the pups do so well there. This is an organic natural farm with organic beef and lamb and chickens, Turkey and much more. These pups are growing so well and doing awesome.

This genetic is really cool as it's Aurella and Posso Jamthund Male. Neat that Posso gets to have a litter the same time as Varella and Karu. All three of those Finnish imports came at the same time.

Karu and Varella were born on the same day and we have litters from Karu and Aspen at Wendys, we have Varella and Ark's daughter Aurella with Posso's pups with Wendy and Dale. As this also great genetic lineage of Ark and Varella have pups over at Michael and Sarahs. All at the same time, how cool is that?

 

A lot of litters and time have past since this historic day over a decade ago. I recall distinctly the fun and excitement we all had on this day when Wendy and Dale came over for Tika.

Tika was the very first pup we placed at our new location in BC and it was very fitting that it went to our fabulous Co-breeders Wendy and Dale.

Tika as you all know who follow our site was a Grand daugther of our foundation female Mia and she is a daughter of the legendary Tora and Bram.

Wendy and Dale still work and hike with Tika at their great organic farming and breeding operation in the Creston Valley of BC. An awesome place to raise great Norwegian Elkhounds and now the Swedish Elkhounds.

 

 

This is the amazing Tika, out exploring the range outside the farm in the Creston Valley. One of the best females that we have produced and her daughters that Dale and Wendy have are all exceptional as well.

This ancient lineage is unique in North America and Kamia Kennels is proud to showcase these beautiful dogs and you can talk anytime with Wendy and Dale, they are so proud of their dogs as are we.

Our future is bright, the lineages are well established and will be preserved for generations to come with the help and guidance of our friends and companions Wendy and Dale.
